Mindray BS-2000M Automated Biochemistry Analyzer

🧪 Overview

Mindray BS-2000M is a modular, floor-standing, automated biochemical analyzer that supports random access. The instrument provides continuous processing performance of up to 2,000 spectral tests per hour, and 600 electrolyte tests per hour when integrating ISE module. BS-2000M is suitable for central laboratories and hospitals with large sample flow.

• High performance:

  • 2,000 spectral tests/hour.

  • 600 electrolyte tests/hour (Na⁺, K⁺, Cl⁻) with ISE module.

• Sample processing:

  • The Sample Delivery Module (SDM) supports continuous loading of 30 racks, each rack containing 10 sample tubes.

  • Detects fluid levels, bubbles and clots.

  • Sample volume from 1.5μL to 25μL, in 0.1μL increments.

• Reagent handling:

  • 140 reagent positions, with refrigeration at 2–8°C.

  • Supports 20ml and 62ml reagent bottles.

  • Automatic barcode scanning for reagents.

• Reaction system:

  • Two 6-head mixers for reagents and samples.

  • Direct heating by solid heating method.

  • Glass test tubes for long term use.

• Washing system:

  • Wash inside and outside of suction head with high pressure hot water.

  • Programmable intensive wash with detergent.

  • 8-stage tube washing station, using heated water and detergent.

• Optical system:

  • Reverse grid system with 13 wavelengths.

  • Bubble detection for sample and reagent tips.

• Scalability and integration:

  • Support bidirectional interface with LIS system.

  • Can operate at altitudes up to 4,000m (with optional external air pump).
